Issuing

Welcome to the Issuing API, a powerful tool for managing card-related operations seamlessly.

Overview

The Issuing API provides functionalities to handle cards, cardholders, card products, and their associated actions.

We provide a feature that enables businesses to fund their cards using cryptocurrency without requiring a pre-funded balance. This means that businesses can issue cards and allow users to load funds onto them directly from their cryptocurrency holdings, offering flexibility and convenience in managing card funding.

Whether you are creating new cards, managing cardholders, or performing card-related operations, this documentation will guide you through the process.

Here are some key terms used frequently in this documentation to describe API functionality. Feel free to refer back to this section if any term is unclear.

Definitions

Card Holder: A Cardholder is an individual to whom you want to issue a card.

Card: This is a card issued to a cardholder, this card can be a physical or a virtual card.

Business Wallet: This is a floating wallet where we credit any additional markup or reversals from card creations, deposits, withdrawals, or other events. For example, if a user attempts to fund their card with 10 USDT but the transaction fails, we will transfer the 10 USDT into your business wallet (typically your USD or USDT wallet). Similarly, if you apply a $2 markup on the card creation fee and the user pre-funds their card with $10, we will transfer the $2 to your business wallet and the remaining amount (minus the Palremit card creation fees) to the user's card. You can get access to these funds via your Palremit business dashboard or the API.
